Remember Nettie Cares is a community non-profit organization launched in 2023 by Christine Yarber & her son Robert. The organization is dedicated to honoring the remarkable life and legacy of matriarch, Nettie. Her spirit of giving and her love for her community inspired the creation of the organization, which continues the work she did throughout her life, in her name and honor.
Who was Nettie Wright?
Nettie was a dedicated community supporter, a loving wife, grandmother and mother to 11 children. A nurse and family woman devoted to helping others until her passing in 2019. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was always ready to lend a hand, share what she had and uplift those around her. Nettie's commitment to caring for her family and community continues to inspire those who knew her, and her 60+ year legacy of service lives on through Remember Nettie Cares.
Christine & Robert
Christine and Robert, the daughter and grandson of Nettie, proudly run and operate Remember Nettie Cares in her honor. Continuing the lifelong commitment to helping the community, carrying on Nettie's legacy of kindness, generosity and service through every meal served, drive organized and family supported.
